<TITLE>13. Par 44-47</TITLE>L-44 Out on the sea one night, this apostle Paul, fourteen days and nights, all the hopes they'd ever be saved was gone, everybody screaming and crying, not eating, Paul went down in the bulkhead of the ship, tossed about, water logged, ready to sink. Paul was down there preaching, or praying, rather, down there praying, and God appeared to him in a vision. He come back out on the deck, looked, storm a raging as hard as it could go, no moon, no stars. Little old ship, everything, everybody screaming every time it went under a wave, "It'll be gone this time."
Paul said, "Be of good courage." Hallelujah!

L-45 The Bible said Jesus said Himself, He was sent to preach deliverance, to open the prison doors to those who set in darkness. He commissioned the same thing to His church. And here's where they miss it church, listen.
If you were setting in prison. And you had to die in the morning at nine o'clock. And they had all of the hair shaved off a your head and a big helmet on, your sleeve on the left side pulled up, a big brass band around it over on your right leg. And a man was standing with a switch in his hand to pull the switch, and the first thing you know, somebody run in and said, "Don't do it. I got a pardon from the government. The governor of the state pardons him. He don't have to..." That man can be happier setting there with the helmet on his head and brass on his arms, than he could be if he was out on the street. Amen. For his pardon is signed.

L-46 And every man and woman here tonight who can recognize that this is the faith that we're preaching, the faith that you believed for years, that was delivered to the saints first, that Jesus come to pardon you, and taken you out of your prison cells of sickness and sin... Your pardon is freely signed. Christ signed it with His own Blood. "For He was wounded for our transgressions, with His stripes we're healed."
You're free. Where's He sign it? The Book say so. Two thousand years and not one word has ever failed. And after a hundred billion years roll on, she will still never fail. God once speaks He can't take it back. I can speak and take it back, so can you. But He once speaks, it's settled for ever.
You're afraid. You don't have to be bound up in sin; you don't have to be bound up in sickness no more. That's true. Paul preached the faith that was once delivered to the saints.

L-47 Now, what have we adopted today? We've adopted other things. We've adopted church membership in the stead of an upper room. We adopted theology instead of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. We've adopted everything else in the stead of the thing that God told us to do. Because we have listened to rules and orders of men.
But when that Gospel light shined in the morning over yonder on the eastern country. It's been a day that wasn't dark nor light. It's been a day hazy. The sun in it's power could not be seen, a mixed light, a hazy day. They knowed the sun was shining, but the clouds has put it out of their sight. People's had enough faith to say, "Yes, Jesus was the Son of God. Oh, He's gone way away. We can see enough to believe salvation." But you can't believe all of it. They stop short.
